Luisa Brimble brings life to the ideas of dreamers and doers through fresh, natural photography. Her documentary-style of shooting gives her subjects soul and captures beauty in the everyday.
A lifestyle and food photographer, Luisa has worked with some of the world’s biggest publishing houses – including Bauer Media, Pan Macmillan Australia (Plum Books), Penguin Books Australia (Lantern), Murdoch Books, Thames & Hudson and Prestel Publishing New York. Anyone with a serious cookbook collection will recognise her work from Community (Hetty McKinnon), Neighbourhood (Hetty McKinnon), Family (Hetty McKinnon), Real Food by Australian Women’s Weekly and WILD Adventure Cookbook.
With a background in marketing and graphic design, Luisa gravitated to photography 10 years ago. She has since brought to life two enormously successful Kickstarter projects – Alphabet Family Journal and the Wild Adventure Cookbook – from concept and production right through to distribution. When she’s not working on cookbooks or delivering talks or workshops, Luisa creates original content for clients such as Piping Hot, Stoneleigh Wines, Jacob’s Creek, CSR Sugar, Moccona, The Garden Clinic and Grand Central Shopping Centre.
